Between Tulip Day and the Glorious Day

How was your May 13 Tulip Day?

I had a normal day, of which humble tears and God’s grace mingle together.

“Consider the flowers of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin… and yet not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.” said Jesus.

Scripture refreshes my mind to the idea of “glory,” not about the glory of an earthly king, but that of our eternal Father.

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.”  said Apostle Paul.

The riches of His glory.

Out of this riches, He provides for us during each of our mundane days. All the more, He has all that we need in store for us in eternity. Saved by Lord Jesus Christ, we might have foretasted the blissfulness of what it would be in His Kingdom, but all things pertaining to the Kingdom would only fully actualize on that Glorious Day.

And so, our role now is to dwell in the land and live each day faithfully.

We are responsible to seek His will and make the best out of our days on earth, between now and then… between today and That Day… between the Tulip Day and that Glorious Day.

Ah, that Glorious Day. ‘Til then, may God help us.
